Earbuds of the Year - Apple’s EarPods….yes, seriously.

Yes, have AirPods. I have several AirPods, including several version of the pros. And I do use my AirPods quite often when I need a wireless option or good noise canceling. I also have Beats (several models) and some hi-def wired earphones which are great for listening to music.

But what do I reach for 75% of the time?

My trusty old Apple EarPods (USB-C version now).

They are cheap. They sound pretty decent (surprisingly). They don’t create that muffled ear feeling. They don’t require any charging. They never irritate my ears (like my AirPod Pros sometimes can). They have fantastic call quality (although AirPod Pros are still better in noisy environments). And I can keep like 10 pairs of them all over the house and in my coat pockets.

And if I lose them or accidentally run them through the washing machine, I don’t care.
